Each migration has one sponsor paying a fixed yearly fee. Their money is released to the land fund as players hit mile milestones.
One hundred percent of it. Held in a charity, published to the pound, and rewilded. When the fund reaches an acre, we buy an acre.
The hazards in the game are not invented.
Nothing clever. The things that are known to work, done patiently, on land we control.
One site in the UK to begin with. Tired farmland or neglected woodland. Small is fine.
Native woodland, wet ground, rough meadow, thick hedges. Then mostly leave it alone.
BirdForum members survey the site. Very few landowners can ask 200,000 birders for help. We can.
The first site becomes a level, with the species actually recorded there.
