Wingbeat is a free game where people fly real bird migrations through a changing climate. Sponsors back the routes. All of the profit buys land to rewild.
One sponsor per migration. Your fee goes into a ring-fenced fund and is released to buy land as players hit mile milestones, so the more people play, the sooner your ground is bought.
A night crossing of the North Sea through storms, a wind farm and a lit coastline.
Six thousand miles, hunting insects on the wing, with the Sahara in the middle.
Formation flying over drained prairie, wildfire smoke and a city at night.
Thermal to thermal across Spain and the Sahara, diving for fish at either end.
The longest non-stop flight ever recorded: 8,425 miles, eleven days, no food.
On the route card, the stage banners and the landing screen, every time someone flies your migration.
A public ledger showing what your fee bought, with photographs as the ground recovers. Real acres, not an offset certificate.
BirdForum’s 205,000 members, the members’ league, the newsletter, and coverage across our birding and photography titles.
Flights, players, time played and miles flown on your route, live, from the same counter everyone can see.
Proposed founding prices, fixed for the year.
Wingbeat is a working prototype and the charity that will hold the land is being set up. Prices are proposals for founding sponsors and will be confirmed in writing. Land value based on published 2025/26 averages for English farmland of roughly £9,000 to £11,000 an acre.
